- This frosty honey-orange example is alive with intense luster and wisps of rose and apricot iridescence. The strike is sharp and the surfaces reveal few marks. While readily available in lower grades, the 1908-D is a very rare issue in Gem grade. Even in MS-64+, as here, this Indian $5 issue does not come up for sale with much frequency. This is an opportunity not to be missed.
