Manley Die State 1.0. A smooth and well composed Select Mint State example with only a few small marks on the end of Liberty's bust and in the upper reverse field discernible with magnification. There is minor softness in isolated areas, especially at lower left obverse and upper left reverse, but most features are sharp, including the border denticulation. Color is a nice blend of original autumn-orange and olive-brown. Trailing only the 9/Inverted 9 C-5, Cohen-6 is the second most obtainable die marriage of the 1809-dated half cent. This one is PQ for the assigned grade and would fit comfortably into many Mint State sets.
