- Key Date 1889-CC Morgan Dollar Rare Prooflike Mint State 1889-CC Morgan Silver Dollar. MS-61 PL (PCGS). An intensely brilliant and aesthetically pleasing 1889-CC, a fabled key date Morgan dollar. The obverse is fully untoned, while the reverse is nearly so, but for the faintest blush of iridescent champagne-gold not readily evident at all angles. Mirrored fields are readily evident at all angles and the strike is sharp throughout the design.
