1892 Morgan Silver Dollar. Proof-67 Cameo (NGC). A satiny white coin that shows  touch of peripheral gold on the upper right obverse which graces the steely-silver reflectivity of the mirrored fields. All devices show strong frost from the dies, as this had to have been an early strike when the dies retained their most frost. Examination with a strong loupe will find a minute nick or two, but nothing to distract the trained eye. Mintage of 1,245 pieces for the year, this certainly one of the top few dozen to survive in terms of quality, eye appeal and desirability. An important coin for the specialist who demands these features.
