- 1872 Liberty Seated Silver Dollar. AU-50 (NGC). Medium silver-gray in the fields and devices, the designs, legends and dentils are edged in deeper gray on both sides. Struck from the perfect date obverse die, without the flurry of extra date digits that was accidentally punched into the base of the rock on another obverse die.
