We are honored to have been consigned one of the finest examples of this long overlooked obsolete series. Stunning! Spectacularly deep mirrors beam from all over! The contrast is extremely bold, offering a borderline DCAM contrast. As expected in this lofty state of preservation, the surfaces are completely without flaw; even using a strong glass, you will not find a single mark, line, or fleck. The eye appeal is superb, as you might expect for one of the highest graded examples in the entire series. PCGS 4, NGC 6. The most recent example sold in January 2017 for $7,638 and this coin, off the market since 2007, last sold for $9,400. The current PCGS value is listed at $9,500. If you are building a top ranking set of three cent nickels, a coin like this cannot be ignored, and this is another amazing example from this amazing collection that will end up in another superb set!
