- 1806 Draped Bust Half Dollar. O-109, T-15. Rarity-1. Pointed 6, Stem Not Through Claw. AU-53 (PCGS).
Charming dove gray patina to both sides, direct lighting calling forth iridescent undertones of gold, pink and blue. This is a boldly defined coin with a nicely centered strike, appreciable remaining luster further confirming the desirable AU grade from PCGS. This is one of the most readily attributable and plentiful die marriages in the Draped Bust half dollar series, the present example seemingly earmarked for inclusion in a high grade type set.
