- VAM-4 has a closed 9, mintmark placed too far left and upright, and most readily noticeable are die gouges descending from Liberty's nose. This die-marriage appears to be commonly cameo as a byproduct of frothy texture on the devices. NGC's MS-61 grade adequately captures many sliding abrasions and bag friction on the highpoints of either side, while the surface remains nearly white with a touch of alabaster patina, and faint tan on the cheek.
