FROM THE YOUNG-DAKOTA COLLECTION Exceptional in every way. This SUPERB GEM possesses deeply reflective mirrors that beam with the boldness and clarity of a freshly minted Proof. Crisply struck and fully frosted devices were imparted into the planchet with a strong, forceful blow from the highly polished dies. The devices are nice and frosty silver white that produces a wonderful contrast with the fields. The obverse looks like a DCAM, while the reverse is just slightly less contrasted than the obverse. Only 600 Proofs were struck. PCGS 9, NGC 1. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $4,000 and we can see no reason why this SUPERB coin will not meet or exceed that level when the hammer falls. All the recent PCGS-graded examples were CAC approved. Only four are graded finer and we can see this coin bringing a very strong bid when the hammer falls. Good luck. Cert.
