1831 Capped Bust Half Dollar. O-115. Rarity-4. MS-62 (PCGS). Highly lustrous for the type, with lightly toned alabaster-silver surfaces that reveal lovely pale-golden peripheral accents. Striking definition is excellent, with softness only noted on those obverse stars which are perennially weak, for the variety.
