1921-D Morgan Silver Dollar. MS-64 PL (NGC). This stunning near-Gem is brilliant apart from wisps of soft antique-gold peripheral toning that are more prevalent on the obverse. Highly lustrous with appreciable reflective tendencies in the fields, a sharp to full strike is also a praiseworthy attribute for a final-year Morgan dollar. As certified population data makes clear, Prooflike coins are in the distinct minority among Mint State survivors of this otherwise plentiful Denver Mint issue.
