1822 Capped Bust Quarter. B-1. Rarity-2. VG-8 (PCGS). CAC. OGH. Warm golden gray with lighter high points. While well-worn, the surfaces display no marks worthy of comment, even when viewed under low magnification. From a modest mintage within the design type of just 64,080 pieces -- only the 1823/2 and 1827 rarities saw smaller production runs. Choice for the grade.
