From the Crow River Collection. For sure this coin is one of the tremendous highlights of this great collection. It is by far one of the very best 1922-S pieces you will ever see! Remarkable surfaces re exceptionally clean and sleek like. Only a scattered small frost break or two can be found. Using a strong glass will not disappoint you. We rarely see this date so clean. A full luster radiates from all over. Both sides are an original white with a faint hint of gold. Miss Liberty and the details are super frosty and are sharply struck. There are 1922S's, and then there is this coin. The eye appeal is special and memorable. PCGS 11, NGC 1, CAC 2. PCGS has graded only one MS66+ and nothing higher. The last one to sell in auction was NOT CAC but still brought $32,900. Even with the current Collectors Universe of only $31,500, we expect this coin to sell for much more.
