Lot Description

A sharply struck1835, with terrific luster and eye appeal.  Lovely splashes of iridescent toning run through the margins.  No marks deserve mention.  This first rate 1835 earned its CAC sticker without a fuss.  From Heritage’s Sept. 2012 Long Beach Sale, lot 4556 @ $1,762.50.  I note that lot 4555 in that sale was an 1835 O.106, also graded NGC AU 58 CAC.  It yielded only $705!  Santa Claus did not attend the sale.  There is a reason the coin here offered brought over twice as much.  Est. $1,000 to $1,500.
