From an original mintage of 288,002, this date is highly collectible and VERY RARE in Mint State. WOW this coin is a headlight! Looking at the coin dead on, you see NO imperfections anywhere, and only under a strong glass will you find a few lines or ticks. There is a longer lint mark on the obverse which is what we think keeps this coin from a full MS64 grade. A surprisingly strong luster shows off beautiful deep yellow gold color. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are above average in strike (typically these come very flat). The eye appeal is great! PCGS 10, NGC 7, CAC 2. PCGS has only graded this coin in MS63+. The current Collectors Universe value is $17,500. This is not a date or grade you see offered in any frequency. PCGS has graded 4 in MS66 with NONE higher.
