1854 Silver Three-Cent Piece. MS-66+ (NGC). Satiny and carefully preserved surfaces are lightly toned with iridescent champagne-gold undertones to pale silver-gray. Boldly struck overall. The 1854 has one of the lowest mintages of the scarce and conditionally challenging Type II three-cent silver design at 671,000 circulation strikes produced.
