Lot Description

12 graded MS-66, 7 higher at PCGS. Low population certainly equals a high bid for this overwhelming white specimen plucked out of the latter dates for the Barber series. Many times these will be seen with mediocre definition, but this fabulously struck example rejoices in a plethora of well-produced details. Neither juncture of the eagle's wings has the flatness that plagues many other half-dollars. Incredibly lustrous and pristine, and a real prize for the specialist.
