Described in our Regency Auction 34 as: "An incredible quality SUPERB GEM, a short glance at it clearly reveals that this beauty ranks among the very FINEST graded at either service. Majestic toning of crimson-violet, amber-orange, rose-gold, and icy silver-blue toning blanket both sides. Boasting flashy reflective mirrored fields, the sharply struck devices are frosty, imparting a bold contrast with the fields and the cameo effect certainly adds to the outstanding visual allure." PCGS 13, NGC 1, CAC 7. PCGS has graded three in PR67+ CAM. In September 2019, this coin brought $7,931, and in our December 2019 Regency Auction, we sold another example for $9,694. Clearly the current PCGS Price Guide value of $5,500 is not accurate, and should be adjusted higher.
