Lot Description

Dark copper brown surfaces are microgranular, but both the color and texture of the coin are even and visually pleasing during in-hand viewing. The strike is well centered despite the absence of border denticulation, the peripheral features bold and those in the centers sharp. Free of sizeable or otherwise troublesome marks, this coin will nicely represent the 1783 Crosby 3-C dies in many collections.
