1809 Capped Bust Half Dollar. O-107a. Rarity-4. IIII Edge. AU-55 (NGC). Bright silver with considerable luster in the fields and toned barely on the obverse with a few small specks of russet on Liberty as well as light gold around the rims. Scarce as a variety and hard to find this nice. Die cracks on the lower right obverse and heavy dentil clashing through AMERICA and the arrows below define the die state, which is rarely encountered so well preserved.
