1838 Modified Matron Head Cent. N-14. Rarity-4 (Rarity-7- for die state). Good-4 (PCGS). Smooth light brown surfaces that are just well worn and about as nice as you can get for the grade. A significant die state coin with a large cud above the coronet tip covering most of star 6. Provenance: From the John McBride Collection.
