THE SOMMELIER COLLECTION A sublime GEM Cameo Proof. One of the finer examples graded at PCGS in the designation, this untoned 3 cent nickel has a bold mirrored reflection in the fields and a nice frost on the devices, creating a stark contrast. The fields are flashy and show heavy die polish lines on the obverse. The eye appeal is awesome. Only 700 Proofs were struck. PCGS 35, NGC 31, CAC 28. We sold one in October 2018 for $1,155 and the current Collectors Universe value is listed at $1,250. This coin has been off the market for over eight years, and is housed in an older generation PCGS blue tag holder. Only 7 are finer in the CAM designation. Good luck. Cert.
