The First Through Last Collection. Jade-blue, crimson and magenta-peach attend to the visual appeal of this pleasing, original bison nickel, The 1927-S does not generally suffer the striking issues of prior San Francisco emissions and this is a finely detailed example, including an interesting die crack that spears the end of the bison's tail. Far over 3-million were struck, but it appears as if all of the emission went into circulation and stayed there as it is very difficult to locate a gem example of the date.
