Tied for FINEST and gorgeously toned, this 52-D is a very special coin for the advanced nickel specialist! Both sides possess concentric bands of blue, green, yellow, and violet-rose hues. As expected the surfaces are essentially without flaw, save for a toning freckle or two. Sharply struck, every detail is crisply rendered, including the windows around the portico. PCGS 4, NGC 0.
