Lot Description

5 graded MS-65+, 19 higher at PCGS. Despite a high mintage over a million pieces, the 1873 of either logotype is recognizable for rarity at or above the "gem" level (this being a "gem plus" example). Exquisite almond-silver evenly coats the entire surface and emphasizes the blemish-free quality. Indeed, a single contact mark that flattens the center of some lines on the leftmost Roman numeral is about all that bears mention.
