What a beautiful Proof Indian cent! Well produced with a crisp strike throughout, the highly mirrored fields beam through a gorgeous layer of intense toning. Shades of aqua, maroon, vermilion, fuchsia, lime, and gold blend together over exceptionally smooth surfaces. Only 950 were ever struck. PCGS 12, NGC 9, CAC 2. Prior to consignment to this sale, this GEM was in an old collection, and is now making its premier in the modern numismatic marketplace. No CAC-approved PR66 RB has ever sold in auction.
