1799 Draped Bust Silver Dollar. BB-160, B-12. Rarity-3. AU-50 (PCGS). A bright, lustrous AU example with wisps of peripheral champagne-apricot and powder blue to otherwise silver-gray surfaces. Boldly to sharply defined overall and pleasingly smooth during in hand viewing. BB Die State II-III, intermediate die state, later than that of the PCGS/CAC AU-50 BB-160 dollar in the preceding lot, but still not yet showing the obverse crack from the border between the end of Liberty's bust and star 13.
