1849-O Liberty Seated Dime. Fortin-103. Rarity-5. Small O. MS-63 (NGC). This attractive piece exhibits blended highlights of iridescent reddish-gold and olive on dominant pearl gray patina. Lustrous satin surfaces are pleasingly smooth. Typically encountered no finer than VF, the 1849-O is scarce in EF to AU and rare in Mint State.
