THE SO-CAL COLLECTION OF MATTE PROOF LINCOLNS A vivid RED GEM! WOW, does the stunning fiery red color just blaze off the surfaces! The intensity of the original brilliance is amazing. The Matte surfaces gleam with traces of pale orange, soft purple, and gold hues. Razor sharp in strike, the dies left the details with an exacting precision. The eye appeal is incredible. The mintage was 2,848 struck for collectors. PCGS 40, NGC 8, CAC 15. The last PR66 RD we sold was not CAC and sold for $2,468 in October 2020. The CAC CPG and PCGS Price Guide values are both listed at $3,000 and we would not be shocked if this PQ GEM brought more. Rare finer, PCGS has graded but a dozen finer in the RD category.
