- 1856 Braided Hair Cent. N-14. Rarity-1. Grellman Die State b. Slanting 5. MS-65 RB (PCGS). CAC. A lovely distribution of brick-red and blue-brown covers the surfaces in an even 50-50 distribution. Nearly all of the stars are weakly struck, and some highpoint softness is seen on the leaves of the wreath. Essentially blemish-free and carbon-free, a highly collectible Gem example.
