1878/6 Octagonal 25 Cents. BG-799G. Rarity-5. Indian Head. MS-62 PL (NGC). Boldly lustrous golden surfaces exhibit frosty motifs and reflective fields. Crude 8 in date formed by a pellet punched into the existing 6 of the die. One of the Large Indian Head varieties from the San Francisco firm of Christoph Ferdinand Mohrig made circa 1872-1876. Choice for the grade. PCGS# 10633.
