Lot Description

Outstanding, virtually pristine surfaces are toned in iridescent orange-apricot that gives way to cobalt blue at the rims. Boldly struck throughout, even on the upper left wreath, which feature is often soft on these. From a Proof mintage of 1,100 pieces, and certainly one of the top dozen or so extant. Simply put, this is an outstanding coin to represent both the type and issue.
