The surface features hints of shimmering, original brilliance throughout, although friction has definitely tinged occasional portions of the surface with delicate lavender-grey accents. Definition on both sides belies status as a branch-mint example, and indeed, a fin raised up from the lower-left obverse rim attests to exceptional striking pressure.
