Lot Description

This is a GORGEOUS Cameo Proof in an ultra high end state of preservation. Deep, clean, and clear mirrored fields have a smooth, watery reflective flash which contrasts brilliantly against the rich frosty texture of the razor sharp devices. Both sides are framed by a wonderful cobalt and amber-gold patina that suggests old time album storage. The eye appeal is amazing. Only 930 Proofs were struck. PCGS 14, NGC 17, CAC 14. The last PCGS/CAC example to sell in auction realized $3,525 in September 2017. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $3,750.
