A rarely offered example of this popular overdate in high grade; Mint State examples are very challenging and PCGS has graded only 13 finer. While NGC no longer considers this variety an overdate, and has delisted it from their census, This is an attractively toned and frosty brilliant example with shades of tangerine, candy-apple, coppery-gold, soft green, and rose hues, mostly at the peripheries, with a pearly pale gold and rich pewter silver in the centers. Well struck, details, including the attribution points are all clearly and crisply defined. The eye appeal is pleasing with a classic old album look. PCGS 9, NGC 0, CAC 3. This coin last sold in April 2013, realizing $3,819. The Collectors Universe value is listed at $3,750 and the CAC CPG value is $4,500. Just 13 are finer at PCGS.
