Lot Description

From the famed Jules Reiver Collection, legendary in its scope in terms of early U.S. silver coins. This boldly lustrous coin has the initial look of a Mint State coin, but there is a touch of microscopic friction on the surfaces. Well struck up, the re-cut 4 is clearly visible to the naked eye. A touch of pale, peripheral gold clings to the rims. The eye appeal is excellent. PCGS 22, NGC 10. The most recent NGC coin realized $1,170 in December 2017.
