This is an exceptional GEM quality example of this date and type. The surfaces are super clean and smooth. There is no reason to question this coin’s total originality. A bold glowing luster beams from all over. The original GEM Mint Red colors sparkle boldly. Every detail is sharply struck and has light frost. The eye appeal is pretty neat too! PCGS 36, NGC 19, CAC 6. There are 3 graded MS65+ RD, and just a half dozen graded higher. The last PCGS/CAC example sold in our December 2017 Regency Auction for $5,523.
