- 1863 Indian Cent. Proof-64 (NGC). Pale golden surfaces with frosty motifs and mirror fields that form a lively cameo contrast. Warm rose iridescence is noted here and there. One of just 460 Proofs (the <em>Guide Book </em>figure) of the date struck, making for one of the scarcest Proofs of the design type in copper-nickel. Choice for the grade.
