- Outstanding Gem Red 1924-D Lincoln Cent
Just One Finer at PCGS
1924-D Lincoln Cent. MS-65+ RD (PCGS).
Phenomenal Gem full Red quality for one of the scarcest and most conditionally challenging Lincoln cents from the Roaring Twenties. A subtle marbling of peach and bronze hues adorns the surfaces and is complemented by radiant, satiny luster.
A semi-key date Lincoln cent in lower grades, the 1924-D has a limited mintage of 2,520,000 pieces. In Mint State this is a full key date issue, especially with the superior surface preservation offered here. This piece is among the very finest survivors of this issue known, and is tied with 4 other examples at MS-65+ RD on the PCGS Population Report. Just a single coin ranks finer at MS-66 RD. Sure to see spirited bidding among advanced Lincoln cent enthusiasts.
PCGS Population: 5; 1 finer.
