Lot Description
1876 Liberty Seated Half Dollar. FS-401. C in Neck. Proof-64 (NGC). CAC. Faint remnants of a letter C are evident on Liberty's neck, the style identical to that used on the Carson City mintmark of the era. This sharply struck and highly appealing half dollar offers golden-gray toning with pleasing blue and crimson near the rims. Once this variety enters the mainstream, its popularity will certainly grow.
