Lot Description

The fantastic double struck Gem 1835 cent in our Pogue V Sale of March 2017 was from this die pairing. The present example offers plenty of mint orange color and bold central definition at a grade point that is accessible to wider group of collectors. Blushes of light olive-gray patina are also noted, but while the surfaces are a bit muted in appearance, we see remarkably few blemishes. Noyes Die State B/B.
