- 1871 Indian Cent. FS-901. Shallow N. MS-65 RB (PCGS). CAC.
Satiny and smartly impressed surfaces exhibit iridescent olive-brown toning to a base of vivid rose-orange mint color. The "Shallow N" in ONE identifies this coin as having been struck using a reverse die sunk from the hub that the Mint started phasing out after 1869. 1871-dated coins with this reverse are scarce.
