Lot Description

Blazingly mint brilliance swirls in bold rolling cartwheels across nicely reflective fields. CAC has been notoriously strict over the years on Prooflike Morgan dollars, so having the CAC seal of approval on this PQ Gem 1897-S proves how strong the mirrored reflectivity is. The sharply struck devices have a softly frosted texture that stands out from the glassy fields. As to be expected of an MS-66, the surfaces are free of any singularly distracting marks. A wonderful example of the issue that would make a great addition to any high end set of PL Morgans, or an interesting choice for a well curated type set.
