1839 Classic Quarter Eagle. AU-50 (NGC). Deep honey-gold with lively retained luster in the protected areas. Noticeable obverse dig at star 2. Repunching at bottom of 8 and at 9, the latter long considered an overdate. PCGS# 7698.
