O-102a. Super slider Capped Bust Lettered Edge Half Dollar Medium steel gray tone with hints of gold towards the periphery. Nearly full mint luster with a slight rub at the highest points of the design. A thoroughly pleasing early bust half that certainly has the appearance of a higher grade. PCGS 104, NGC 92, CAC 22. PCGS price guide lists value as $2,350. Last sold at auction in April 2018 for $2,280. Very high end for the assigned grade and sure to please the collector of this popular design. Cert.
