Well struck, early die state with hints of prooflike surfaces. Album toning accounts for the deeply iridescent halo of electric blue. The gold and rust colored centers are reminiscent of storage in kraft paper. The surfaces bear indicia of circulation, mostly hidden by the original toning. This Red Book staple must not be confused with the common 1807 50/20 “Large Stars.” It is far more difficult to locate. Expect serious competition for this collector grade example!
