- 1864 Two-Cent Piece. FS-401. Small Motto. MS-66 RB (PCGS). CAC. This visually captivating example of the Small Motto two-cent type displays beautiful red-brown and deep purple-rose toning on the obverse, with some lighter copper-golden and deep tan colors on the reverse. The strike is exceptionally bold with no typical weakness visible on the motto. The Small Motto variety is much scarcer than its Large Motto counterpart from the same year.
