Lot Description
Lot 319 1852 N-4 R1 PCGS graded MS64 Brown, CAC Approved.Very attractive and highly lustrous light chocolate and olive brown with generous traces of mint red showing on the reverse. The only marks are a tiny horizontal swipe of darker toning to the left from the curl before the ear and a tiny planchet flake in the dentils at star 5, as struck. M-LDS, die state b. The reverse is cracked but the obverse remains uncracked. A shallow low spot covers much of the neck, a result of debris stuck to the die. Our grade is MS60+.
