1826 Capped Bust Half Dollar. O-118a. Rarity-1. MS-62 (PCGS). CAC. Satiny surfaces are sharply struck throughout and remarkably smooth for the assigned grade. Dressed in dominant pearl-gray patina, with more vivid undertones of lilac-rose, powder blue and golden-apricot, it is difficult for us to imagine a more attractive Capped Bust half dollar at the BU grade level. An ideal Mint State type candidate, and equally appealing for inclusion in a high grade variety set of this widely collected series. PCGS# 6143. NGC ID: 24FM.
