EX COL. GREEN/NEWMAN. Brilliant centers yield to peripheral toning. Lustrous and only light contact marks. This O-107 hails from two of the great collections of the 20th century, having been off the market since the 1940s purchase of the Col. Green Estate until being sold in November 2013. PCGS 5, NGC 1. When this coin sold in 2013, it was in an NGC MS62 encapsulation, and realized $2,585. The PCGS Price Guide in 61 is $2,250. Another great Capped Bust half dollar for the serious collector.
